Is Opus a UK company?
Yes. Opus CNC is based in the North East of England and has engineers working throughout the UK, including Northern Ireland.
What software is supplied?
VCarve Pro is supplied as standard with Olympus ATC CNC machines. VCarve Pro can also be upgraded to Aspire for 3D machining needs.
Is training included?
Yes. Machine and software training is included and covers machine operation, software and safety, with training adapted to the operator’s level of experience.
Is tooling supplied?
Tooling is generally supplied to support the training process. Olympus ATC CNC routers are designed to accommodate ER32 collets, and Opus can discuss suitable tooling requirements with you.
Do I need 3-phase electric supply?
Olympus ATC CNC routers are supplied with three-phase electrical connectivity. A single-phase configuration may be possible, but it requires certain components to be changed.
What bed sizes are available?
Standard Olympus ATC bed sizes include 1300 x 1300mm, 1300 x 2500mm, 1525 x 3050mm, 2100 x 3050mm, 2000 x 4000mm and 2000 x 6000mm. Bespoke sizes are also available on request.
