Oculus Fibre Laser

Oculus Fibre Lasers FEATURES

What is unique about the Oculus Fibre Laser?

Fibre lasers, or fiber lasers, are powerful laser cutters used for cutting metal. These laser-cutting machines are now affordable assets for many industries, such as engineering, metal fabrication, aerospace, automotive, and shop fitting.

The Oculus fibre laser cutting machines are high-performance, powerful, and versatile. They can cut through various metals, from stainless steel and mild steel to alloy steel, spring steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, silver, and gold, making them suitable for various applications.

One key advantage of Oculus fibre lasers is their low running costs. Unlike the CO2 laser range, they have only a few consumable parts, significantly reducing maintenance and operational expenses and making them a more cost-effective choice in the long run.

The fibre laser cutting process uses fibre laser cutting technology. A fibre optic cable transfers the laser from the laser source to the advanced optical head, which produces a fine, intense beam.

The Oculus fibre lasers come with a Windows PC-based computer system, which provides a secure control system and up-to-date fibre laser technology.

Our UK-based engineers have extensive knowledge, and the two-year warranty gives peace of mind when purchasing such a substantial purchase.

We suggest considering an upgrade to the next power level if you plan to cut materials at their maximum depth capacity. For instance, if you are aiming to cut 5mm aluminium, we recommend a 3kW laser. While a 2.0kW laser can handle 5mm aluminium, it will operate at its maximum power to do so.

    Queries and Answers

    Queries and Answers

    Is Delivery
    Included?

Included within our comprehensive package, we provide the delivery of all Oculus Fibe Lasers. For models 1313, 1325, and 1530, our delivery is facilitated by a curtain sider lorry. For the larger models, a HIAB service is utilised. It’s worth noting that HIAB deliveries do not necessitate a forklift for unloading. However, for curtain sider deliveries, a forklift with a capacity of 5 tons is required to complete the unloading process.

Two pallet trucks are then required to position the Oculus fibre laser. Alternatively, a forklift can be used.

    Is Installation and Training Included?

Absolutely, a skilled and approachable engineer from our team will conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and provide any requisite guidance. To ensure a seamless installation process and avoid potential delays or cancellations, we kindly request that all electrical prerequisites be prepared beforehand.

With a proven track record of transforming individuals into experts, our engineers are a beacon of excellence in lasers and skill development. You will receive machine training, safety management and software training. Furthermore, our engineers adeptly customise their training approach to align perfectly with your requirements and proficiencies!

    What If I Don't Have 3 Phase?

Oculus fibre lasers come equipped with a 3-phase connectivity setup. Nevertheless, we do have the capability to manufacture the Oculus fibre laser with a single-phase configuration if required.

    What Warranty is included?

Our trust in the reliability of the Oculus Fibre Laser is unwavering, and that’s why we provide an extensive warranty covering parts and labour for two full years. While some businesses might present a 3-year warranty, it’s essential to note that the third year often covers only parts. We emphasise the significance of avoiding situations where substantial labour expenses keep you bound to those terms.
