We’ve just completed the delivery, installation and training of an Olympus 1325 ATC CNC router for a carpenter based in Chichester, and this machine is already earning its keep. There’s something brilliant about watching a workshop come alive the moment a CNC powers up for the very first run — that blend of excitement, potential and “this is going to change things” energy was definitely there today.
Once training was underway, it didn’t take long before we saw confidence grow and the machine moving effortlessly through its first jobs. The automatic tool changer is already speeding things up nicely, and with plenty of power behind the spindle, this router is ready for everything from one-off pieces to full production runs.
Whether it’s crafting fitted furniture, precision joinery details, repeat components or more creative bespoke work, this setup is going to make life easier — and output smoother, faster and more consistent. A real upgrade for the workshop.
