Introducing Opus CNC’s New Headquarters

Tuesday, September 10th, 2019

After months of careful planning and preparation, we are delighted to announce we have now officially moved into our new premises, which we have had custom-built to our own design.

Inspired by our core values, we have designed our bigger and better headquarters in Durham with a key focus on being able to continue delivering the very best customer service available.

Due to exponential company growth and increased demand over the past 18 months, we have trebled our previous floor space, creating brand new luxury offices for our brilliant sales and support teams, as well as a far larger warehouse to be able to stock even more machines.

Plus, with space to accommodate more employees too, we are proud to also create more local jobs with our expansion.

Furthermore, with our new building we have also created an improved demonstration room, which will be home to one of each of our laser machines and CNC routers, where we look forward to welcoming prospective customers and being able to provide a more intimate setting for their visits.

Above all, we are extremely proud to have created a great new workplace for all of our wonderful members of staff and look forward to continuing to settle in to our new home.

Our new permanent address is: Units 22C-D, Roeburn House, Mandale Business Park, Durham, DH1 1TH.

Benefiting From Running Multiple Laser Machines And CNC Routers

Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019

Time and time again, we hear back from grateful customers across the UK who have seen business increase exponentially with the help from our machines – so much so, they require a further machine to keep up with demand.

Only last week, for example, our engineers returned to one of our sign making customers in Oldham, to complete the installation of their second Oculus laser machine in only a matter of months. The team were so impressed with the results from their first laser machine, they could not wait to bring another in to join their busy workshop and double production, saving even more time and labour.

We are always thrilled when such companies choose to buy from Opus again. We work hard to build lasting relationships with all of our customers and take pride in providing the very best customer service available. We like to think the fact so many of our customers would choose our machines again is testament of this.

Another of our happy customers from Selby, for example, had no doubts about returning to Opus for another machine after being delighted with the service and aftercare support he received with his Olympus CNC router. After being inspired to introduce our Oculus laser into his busy crafts business, with both machines running alongside each other, he will now have even more creative freedom to work in a wider range of styles, with a vaster selection of materials.

With our engineers set to return to yet another of our customers in Yorkshire this month to install their second machine from us in less than a year, we are thrilled to see our machines are improving production and increasing business for so many of our customers.

We are delighted to see our machines benefiting so many companies across the country, and even more delighted to see more and more businesses taking advantage of these benefits by running more than one of our machines.

Work is now well underway on the construction of our brand new unit.

The builders have been hard at work over the past week, bringing our new offices to life and, after months of careful planning and consideration, we are so excited to finally see our new premises taking shape.

We have also been out over the weekend finalising materials for the flooring of the new unit, as well as LED spotlights for the ceiling, meaning the pieces of the puzzle are truly starting to come together.

With the outer framework for the offices now up, the next phase of the project will concentrate on the office walls, as well as our brand new and improved demonstration room.

And, as construction steams ahead, we are all set to be fully moved in to our new premises by the end of the month.

We can’t wait to keep you all updated as work continues to progress.
